I remember accidently running across a post you’d written on xanga. You referenced “Pride & Prejudice,” and that’s all it took. I was hooked. I loved every word you wrote from that day forward. I went back and read your old posts, and realized that your heart beat like mine.
And you started talking back. Somehow we became friends. We may be hundreds of miles apart and have never met, but there have been many times where it felt like you were sitting across the table from me talking about life and love and God and everything.
Thank you for asking how my heart is. Thank you for making sure I had a copy of “Captivating” of my very own. Thank you for the letters and the words and the emails. Thank you for being a friend throughout all the time, and I hope we maintain this bizarre friendship across distance and sometimes strange stretches of time for as long as we live. You are something incredible and beautiful.
Keep your heart glowing like the amazing beacon of strength, kindness, and brilliance it is.
